Vegetarian Philly Cheese Steak

(ok so you don't have to add cheese & there's no steak,
but I do live in Philly..)

This sandwich is soooo yummy! Make your own wheat meat & save a lot of money, or buy it ready-made at the health store.

SLICE
1 lb of wheat meat REALLY, REALLY thin
2 green peppers REALLY, REALLY thin
1 large onion (you guessed it) REALLY, REALLY thin

Throw all of the above on a large baking sheet you have sprayed with oil

ADD A HEALTHY DASH OF
soy sauce
ketchup
ton of garlic powder (or use a FEW cloves)
sage
dash 'o hot cayenne pepper

MIX
thoroughly

BAKE
for 15 minutes
TURN
it all around (and do the Hooky Pokey)
BAKE
another 15 minutes

SHAPE
the 'meat' on the baking tray into the width & length of your hoagie rolls
vegetarians top with slices of cheap orange American cheese or use Cheeze Wizz if you're brave enough! allow to melt.
are you a vegan? can you get vegan cheese? ok add it now, melt just for a bit cuz it gets weird (if you can't find any it's ok, really)
and at the same time toast GOOD hoagie rolls

the 'pros' in Philly open the roll & use it to scoop up the 'steak'
(only wimps use a spatula)
