PLEASE CONTACT ME ASAP! Elizabeth Fiend: Elizabeth@bigteaparty.com

The evening is going to be zany and fun but also warm, loving and joyous. I will be working with the couples to customized the ceremony to suit each of them. Think of the evening as a cross between a New Years Eve party and a wedding.

♥  Location: Bar Noir, 112 S. 18th St., Philadelphia.

♥  There is a cash bar.

♥  If any of the couples would like to contribute a cake, food, decorations, photographer, etc. we can discuss this.

♥  I will be performing the ceremony, and we can customize your vows, have friends read, etc. (This will be a non-religious ceremony, however you may mention your faith if you wish.)

♥  You MUST have a marriage license from the county of Philadelphia (meaning City Hall). I can help you with this if needed.

+=+=+ About The Right Reverend Elizabeth Fiend +=+=+

Elizabeth Fiend, host of the award winning TV show “BiG TeA PaRtY It’s Cooking, Crafts and Anarchy, is also a Right Reverend in the Universal Life Church http://www.ulc.net/  and as such is legally able to perform marriages. She become a wedding officiant because she believes in love -- having been with her husband, Allen Fiend, since 1976 -- it’s good stuff!. And because she feels strongly that people should be able to have the wedding ceremony of their choice. The legal restrictions on who can perform marriages can sometimes make this difficult.

Her specialty is performing ceremonies that are non-religious or ceremonies of a non-traditional religion such as handfastings; unusual, creative, wacky and individualized / customized ceremonies; and commitment ceremonies for same-sex couples (unfortunately this is not legal in most states at this time).

She also offers her services to people who simply wish their wedding to be personal and warm and to express their love for one another -- free from sterile government officials, god or a standard religious figure.

In 2004, Elizabeth Fiend married punk rockers, pagans and puppetistas as well as the General Secretary of the ‘International Workers of the World’ and the coordinator of the ‘Urban Nutrition Innovative.’

If you have any questions or suggestions please don’t hesitate to contact me.

BRAND NEW EPISODE!!

Crop Circles

Premieres September 16 at 9 pm
rebroadcast September 20 at 10 pm
Philly PBS member-station WYBE, Channel 35

This documentary digs into Community Supported Agriculture (CSA), a growing trend taking root across the country, committed to bringing back old ways of connecting people to farms and farmers. Host Elizabeth Fiend chats with local farmers and consumers who all concur that CSAs are important not only for personal health but also for the health of the environment and the preservation of local farms producing locally grown food. BiG TeA PaRtY travels to a rural farm in Lancaster County to find out about organic methods, and visits an equally green farm on a formerly-abandoned lot in the city of Philadelphia. BiG TeA PaRtY has some fun by sneaking into a fast food restaurant to see if people have lost their connection to the land that feeds them.
